Born in New York City in 1931, Arthur Andrew Kelm would later be known to the world as one of the dreamiest boys-next-door of the 1950's- Tab Hunter. Hunter's film career was slight with starring roles in such classics as Battlecry (1955) and Damn Yankees! (1958) but like a modern day Kellan Lutz, he became a media sensation with his lean torso and handsome face plastered over every teen magazine in the country. Despite all the attention, Hunter's career stalled and he would eventually fade from the Hollywood stratosphere, ultimately spoofing his own image in John Waters' Polyester (1981). In 2005 Hunter published an autobiography confirming his homosexuality, putting an end to the tabloid speculation that had dogged him his whole career. He's here, he's queer, Happy 80th Birthday Tab Hunter!
